Campaign Profiles Dashboard

This dashboard provides you with enhanced control over your inventory by letting you decide which campaign types (like Onsite Display) and buy types (like Auction) are available to different advertiser groups.

It helps you define access rules for different demand entry points. You will see three different subpages on the dashboard, where you can create up to six profiles: one unique indirect sold, one unique direct sold, and up to four private market profiles.

You can define which campaign and buy types are available to each demand source and set the access and availability for each demand entry point separately:

  • Indirect-sold (Commerce Max, Third Party partners)

  • Direct-sold (demand side of your Supply account)

  • Private Market (only available if you are using our Private Market solution)

Why use the Campaign Profiles dashboard?

It allows you to:

  • Restrict your inventory access to specific campaign types (Onsite Display or Onsite Sponsored Products).

  • Customize access based on whether the demand is Direct-sold, Indirect-sold, or from Private Market accounts.

  • Align inventory access with your business strategy.

How does it work?

Campaign Profiles act as permission sets that determine exactly what types of campaigns and buying methods each demand account can access within your inventory. The way these profiles are mapped directly controls the visibility and availability of campaign options for different advertisers:

  1. Profile Mapping Determines Access

When a demand account (such as an advertiser or agency) is linked to a specific Campaign Profile, the permissions defined in that profile decide what the demand account can see and do. This ensures that only the intended campaign types and buy types are available to each demand account.

  2. Controlling Visibility and Access Restrictions

    • Example - Indirect Sold Profile in Commerce Max

If you choose to disable all campaign types and buy types in your Indirect Sold profile, you will not appear at all in the retailer dropdown menu during campaign creation within Commerce Max.

    • Example - Private Market Profile Example

Suppose you have both Sponsored Products (SP) and Onsite Display campaigns integrated, but you want to restrict a particular Private Market demand account only to create Sponsored Product campaigns.

      • By mapping this account to a profile that only enables Sponsored Products, the advertiser will see and be able to use only the Sponsored Products campaign creation workflow.

      • The Onsite Display campaign option will be completely hidden from their view, even though it exists in your overall offering.

  3. Flexible and Secure Inventory Management

    This system allows you to:

    • Precisely control what part of your inventory is available within each demand entry point. If you have launched a Private Market program, the profiles also allows you to precisely control what each advertiser account can access.

    • Easily update permissions by requesting changes to profiles or remapping accounts as business needs evolve.
